ESRC Impact Acceleration Account - Call for Applications

(8 March 2018)

Please be advised that the Durham ESRC Impact Acceleration Fund 9th Call is now open for applications with a deadline of 5pm on Friday, 6 April. To apply please refer to the ESRC IAA Guidelines and complete an application form here. If you have any queries regarding this call, or the Durham ESRC IAA fund in general, please contact Elaine Grieveson, ESRC IAA Manager – or ext. 49116.

The Durham ESRC IAA Fund is available to Durham academics and independent researchers to help develop impact from their research. Demand for ESRC IAA grants has been extremely high since the fund was launched in 2014, and it is open to all researchers, regardless of discipline and/or the origin of the original research funding, providing the proposed impact activities align to the ESRC’s disciplinary remit of social science research as detailed in the Durham ESRC IAA Guidelines.

The website also details information about the ESRC IAA Capacity Building Programme, which funds impact training workshops for academics and ECRs on a variety of topics, together with details of the Joint North East Fund, a collaborative partnership with Newcastle University, which welcomes applications from Durham colleagues who are working in collaboration with colleagues in Newcastle University.
