Would you like some help to stop smoking in 2018?

(11 January 2018)

Smokefreelife's outreach team will bring their mobile 'Stop Smoking Clinic' to the Calman Learning Centre on Tuesday, 16 January, Wednesday, 17 January and Thursday, 18 January from 10.30am until 2.30pm. The clinic is a free and confidential stop smoking service, available to both staff and students. If you have any questions please email lynn.anderson@durham.ac.uk.

The clinic provides professional advice, support, and access to a selection of stop smoking medication to help you lead a healthier and smokefree lifestyle. It is an ‘e-cig’ friendly service and offers behavioural support.

When visiting the bus, staff and students will be given the opportunity to sign up to a 12 week support programme, which will take place in the Palatine Centre every Monday lunchtime beginning 22 January.

You are 4x more likely to quit with an advisor, compared to quitting by yourself.
