Centre for Catholic Studies 10th anniversary celebratory conference

The Centre for Catholic Studies celebrates its 10th anniversary with a conference entitled 'Catholic Theology in the Public Academy: Searching the Questions, Sounding the Depths'. The conference will take place between Wednesday, 18 April 2018 and Friday, 20 April 2018 in Durham. Registration and the call for papers is now open. More information can be found here.

The programme will include:

  • Academic Colloquium featuring Paul D. Murray, Anna Rowlands, Karen Kilby, Alana Harris, Elizabeth Johnson, Paul Lakeland, Stephen Bullivant, Gavin D’Costa, Gerard Loughlin, Nicholas M. Healy, Janet Soskice, and Myriam Wijlens
  • Celebratory Dinners in the Durham Castle’s Great Hall and St Chad’s College
  • Anniversary Mass of Thanksgiving in Durham Cathedral
  • Anniversary Public Lecture by Baroness Nuala O'Loan on Catholicism and Public Life
  • Parallel Paper Sessions for postgraduate students, early career scholars and established academics
