Embedding mental well-being in the Curriculum: Maximising success in Higher Education

Dr Ann-Marie Houghton, Director of the Researching Equity, Access and Participation group from Lancaster University, will be leading this teaching focused academic network organised event on Wednesday, 22 November. Anne-Marie will be joined by colleagues working in this area from academic departments and the Counselling Service to share their experiences. During the event there will be an opportunity to: 

  • Learn more about the content and process of embedding wellbeing into the curriculum
  • Share your own experiences with respect to challenges and changes that make a difference
  • Consider how embedding wellbeing complements the widercall for a more inclusive teaching and learning approach arising from changes to Disabled Students’ Allowance
  • Think about your own wellbeing and that of your colleagues as well as your students!
