Change workshops - places still available

There are a range of workshops available on the subject of change, facilitated by staff from the Centre for Academic, Researcher and Organisation Development (CAROD). The workshops are targeted towards those managers and staff who are involved in change initiatives or, who may be affected in some way by the Voluntary Severance Scheme (those that remain at the University not those who will be leaving). These workshops are now available to book on to via the training course booking system.
There are four workshops. Each stand-alone and all are around 2½ hours in length:
- Getting ready to change
Suitable for all staff before and during periods of change
- The Manager as an enabler of change
Suitable for managers and team leaders before and during change
- Looking after yourself and others - wellbeing & resilience
Suitable for all staff during and after change initiatives
- Enhancing Team Effectiveness Post-Change (Helping staff post-change)
Suitable for all managers and team leaders after change initiatives
Each workshop runs a number of times until the end of the year. If there are no places on your preferred session, please do put your name on the waiting list as places do become available.
We will also be monitoring attendance and review whether further sessions are required due to demand.
Before booking on any of these workshops please ensure you obtain the agreement of your Senior Manager and agree that it is suitable for you. As a reminder in the first instance the courses are provided for those directly affected by major change initiatives and the outcomes of the recent voluntary severance scheme.
