Earn up to £30 in a fun experiment

Extended call for Papers: 3 Rivers Regional Learning and Teaching Conference
The call for papers to the 15th regional learning and teaching conference, taking place on 24 April at the University of Sunderland has been extended to 29 February, and our teaching community is invited to participate with this 'Call for Papers'.
French Conversation for Staff
If you speak conversational French at any level and would like the chance to practise with colleagues, please come along to our informal get-togethers this term. The catch-ups from 12-1pm usually take place in the Palatine Centre and alternate between Thursday and Fridays.

New foot and cycle path to open soon
As part of our Infrastructure Improvements project to enhance movement around the University, a new foot and cycle path linking Hollingside Lane and Howlands park and ride will open for use on Monday 10 February. This will go through the woods near Collingwood College, running parallel to South Road. The next phase of the project is to enhance the existing footpath along South Road between Hollingside Lane and Howlands park and ride. To allow this work to take place, the existing footpath will be closed from Monday 10 February until Monday 24 February. Please use the new route instead.

Researchfish 2020 Submission Period opens Monday 3 February
Researchfish is an online reporting system used by funders to collect information on the outcomes, outputs and impact of the research they fund. The 2020 submission period is open from Monday 3 February to Thursday 12 March at 4pm.
