Durham University Folk Society Ceilidh Dance
Durham University Folk Society will be hosting its second big ceilidh dance of this term on Sunday, 4 March 2018 between 7pm-10pm in the Fonteyn Ballroom at the Students' Union. Tickets are £3 for members and £5 for non-members on the door. No experience is necessary and our callers will be there to guide you through the dances. Everybody is welcome.

The following is a message from Durham Constabulary. Detectives investigating a sexual assault are re-appealing for the public’s help to identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with an incident. The incident happened at around 2.30am on Monday, 12 June 2017 in the Oswald Block, Durham. Detective Sergeant Chris Woollett, from Durham Constabulary said: “We would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image. Anyone who recognises the man should call us.” Anyone with any information should call 101, quoting incident number 33 of 12 June.

Sexual Violence & Misconduct: Awareness and Disclosure Training for Staff
All staff are invited to participate in the Sexual Violence & Misconduct: Awareness and Disclosure Training (Level 1) held on Wednesday 21 February 2018 at 9am, 11.30am, or 2.30pm. There are limited spaces so be sure to sign up soon via the online training system. The course is listed under Academic Support Office. The SVM: Disclosure and Support Workshop (Level 2) will be held on Thursday, 1 March at 9am and 1.30pm.

UK Top 10 and European Top 20 for the Durham Full-time MBA in Financial Times' Global MBA Ranking
The Full-Time MBA programme offered by Durham University Business School has been ranked 9th in the UK and 18th in Europe by the Financial Times in this year’s annual Global MBA Ranking. The ranking lists the best MBA programmes offered by business schools around the world each year based upon factors including; programme costs and return on investment, salaries, and class make-up. In the overall ranking, the programme is positioned at 64th globally, climbing 11 places from last year’s position of 75th. For further information about the programme, please click here.

Free Voice-Hearing Events at the Waddington Street Community Centre
Hearing the Voice has teamed up with Waddington Street Centre to produce a new, four-part series of events exploring voice-hearing and other unusual experiences.
