The Participant Hub

(25 September 2020)

The Participant Hub was created with the help of a Durham University Northern Accelerator award. The vision: to make the process of conducting online research simpler, easier and more accessible to all.

The website enables anyone to:

  • Create online surveys
  • Post a link to social networks and
  • Receive a detailed analysis and commentary back on the data.

It's designed to be "mobile first" and enables researchers to conduct research entirely from their smartphone if they wish.

Currently four research designs / statistical tests are offered:

  • Qualitative (free text),
  • Independent Samples,
  • Paired Samples and
  • Correlational, with more complex designs on the way.

The Participant Hub is entirely free for anyone to use (for the first 5 studies) and is supported by a number of original educational "How to ..." videos explaining when and how to use the offered statistical tests on our dedicated YouTube channel.
