New suite of 'Hot topics' workshops

CAROD is pleased to offer a new suite of two hour concise learning opportunities or “bite size” sessions, covering a range of topics which have been requested through the Annual Development Review process, feedback from workshop delegates and via team development discussions. There are no pre-requisites for attendance on any of the workshops and they are primarily aimed at all professional support staff. The range of courses are as follows:

Conflict at work - will consider the major sources of conflict in the workplace and strategies for managing conflict.

Understanding Strategy – covers the appropriate steps to take to develop and implement strategy in a Durham context

Process improvement – will help understand the concept of process mapping and its use in helping to streamline processes. 

Performance Management - explores the range of processes, policies, skills and behaviours which, when considered as a whole, constitutes performance management.

Courageous Conversations - will look at how to tackle difficult conversations, how to give feedback to someone who doesn't want to hear and how to respond to challenging situations to gain a positive outcome.
