Academic Skills support for students
The Academic Development for Students team has had a very good take-up of classes for the live online academic skills classes this term, ranging from improving academic writing to time management. For all taught sessions, students can access a recording of the full session – or in some cases a summary of the session – through our DUO page. Also on our DUO page, students might find our academic reading and notetaking resources helpful. To access these from our welcome page, they should click on ‘Class materials’ and then ‘Being productive’. To enrol on our DUO page, students should click on the ‘Academic Skills portal’ on the right under ‘Student Services’ when they log into DUO. For any queries, please contact email@example.com.

Library Document Delivery Service / Inter-Library Loans
Document Delivery Service (DDS) allows staff and students of Durham University to obtain material not currently held by the Library. All DDS services nationwide (including the British Library) were suspended as the nation went into lockdown in March. This has remained the situation until very recently, but some services are being re-established. The British Library re-instated their inter-library lending for DDS services on 1 October. We are now also gradually reinstating DDS services to request items from other libraries for Durham University library users. For information, please visit here.
