Business School's Digital IMPACT magazine available now

Issue 9 of IMPACT, the Business School's award-winning magazine, is themed around 'a changing world', and is available now. The global business world moves at an exponential rate and through the global pandemic, this change has become even more rapid. In this issue the School reflects on these changes with a focus on society. Are the changes we are experiencing influenced by Covid-19 or were some happening anyway? Read the latest issue here.

Durham Internship and Collaborative Enterprise (DICE)

Careers & Enterprise, in partnership with Durham County Council, are working to deliver the ERDF-funded ‘DICE’ scheme. Supporting regional business growth through subsidised internships, start-up support and entrepreneurial initiatives, an interim report has concluded the project has led to more than £3.3million gross value added for the local economy. Read more about the project here.

New Oracle Learning e-Learning package available - working from home

The HR&OD team is delighted to introduce a new SkillBoosters e-learning package exploring what home workers can do to make sure that they stay healthy, happy and productive while remaining connected to their organisation and able to recap all the benefits that homeworking has to offer. P60 documents available for 2020/2021 tax year

The P60 documents for tax year 2020/2021 are now available in the Oracle portal. To access the document click on Me, Pay, Year-End Documents and select the P60 2021 which will open the document as a pdf. Any access issues should be reported via CIS helpdesk. Any queries on the information contained on the P60 should be emailed to Payroll@durham.ac.uk.

Social science researchers: we need your help

The Durham ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) runs a training and development scheme which aims to support Durham social science researchers in knowledge exchange (KE) activity, bridging the pathway to translating research in to impact. We are inviting all social science researchers to complete a short survey (5-6 minutes) about their training needs and interests, which will help us to develop the future of the programme.
