Preparing for teaching 2020-21

(2 October 2020)

An Introduction to Teaching and Learning Online is a four-hour course, running over two weeks, that will help you to understand what it is like to be a student in an online learning environment and to develop modules that can be taught either face-to-face or online.

The next run of An Introduction to Teaching and Learning Online commences on 12 October. Please register (via the Training Course Booking System) by 5pm on 6 October to ensure that you get a place.

DCAD continues to offer a wide range of resources, workshops and consultations on teaching in socially distanced, blended and online contexts. An overview can be found on DCAD's Covid-19 Response page. You can sign up for DCAD workshops and consultations at Academic Development and for sessions on live online teaching with Collaborate, Teams or Zoom at Digital Skills. For quick queries, please use the Supporting teaching and learning channel of the Help Us Help You Teams site.
