Awards Launch - Invitation for applications

CAROD (Centre for Academic, Researcher and Organisation Development) is pleased to announce the launch of, and to invite applications for, the following awards:

Delivering Research Project Workshop

This workshop, on Monday 30 April 2018 in the Hogan Lovells Lecture Theatre, brings together the key support elements of the University to deliver a one-day workshop for all staff holding their first grant, to aid them in managing people, ideas and resources. The workshop is open to academic and research staff.

Staff and students are invited to engage with the Effectiveness Review which is jointly led by the University Secretary and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost by providing a response to the online consultation that is taking place during the Evidence Gathering stage of the Review. Suessical the Musical

Durham University Light Opera Group (DULOG) will present Seussical the Musical at the Gala Theatre, Durham City, from 16 to 20 January. The musical is based on the children's books of Dr Seuss. 
There will be performances at 7.30pm each night, plus Thursday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm. Tickets are priced £8-13, with group discounts available. For more information, please visit

Mount Oswald project approved
