PGR Reading Group 2013 by Melih Sonmez
The very first PGR Reading Group of DELI was held on 10th of December 2013. Mr Melih Sonmez, a third year PhD Candidate member of the Institute, presented a significant chapter of his research, entitled ‘A Direct Route to the Effective Transparency Regulations in the Financial Markets and the Recent Modifications on the Transparency Directive (2004/109/EC)’.

On 29th April 2014 DELI organised a joint seminar with a fellow Durham research Centre, the Centre of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice, which was delivered by Professor Katalin Ligeti of the University of Luxembourg and was entitled “European Public Prosecution Office – Supranational or Collegiate Structure?”
DELI LLB-LLM Students Conference
On 19th March 2014, DELI held the first LLM and LLB Students Conference, entitled as ‘Current Issues in EU Law: From Economic Integration to Social Integration’.
