Energy Careers fair and workshop

Durham Student Energy Society are organising 2 energy careers focused events on Wednesday 6th November for students with backgrounds in STEM and in Social Science.

Engineering and Energy Careers Fair

  • 3pm to 4pm
  • Engineering Department Main Atrium

An event hosting information about potential graduate and undergraduate opportunities in the engineering and energy sectors.

Careers for Social Scientists in the energy sector

  • 4pm to 5pm
  • Room CM107, Maths and Computing Building

As part of the National Festival of Social Science we are organising a workshop on ‘Energy Careers and Social Science’ which will highlight the importance of social science to the energy sector and prospects for future careers in the sector for social science students. Come hear from National Energy Action, Durham County Council and DEIs co-Director for Social Science about opportunities for social scientists in the energy sector.
