Exhibition of the works of Jonathan Parker

Until 11:55pm, Trevelyan College

CVAC is working with Trevelyan College and Auckland Castle on a symposium and exhibition of the works of Jonathan Parker. If you are interested in the artist, or more generally, in portraiture (particularly portraits of College Principals and/or Prince Bishops), the Auckland Zurbaráns, the Trevelyan family, or the history of Trevelyan College, do please contact a.m.beresford@durham.ac.uk

Paintings will be exhibited initially at Trevelyan before heading to Bishop Auckland Town Hall. Contributions are invited on the content and format of the exhibition (which is likely to include loans from Auckland Castle and the Durham Colleges), the symposium, and the exhibition catalogue. Depending on uptake, we may also be producing a short edited book.
