About CVAC

The Centre for Visual Arts and Culture at Durham University (CVAC) promotes interdisciplinary research on visual culture in all its diverse forms, across visual materials, media and visual storytelling to the creation and curation of visual data and resources

The CVAC programme of events for 2023-24 offers seminars and workshops for researchers at all career stages. These events bring together expertise in innovative digital, technical and creative visual methods from across all disciplines with and beyond our University. We offer an engaging, open environment for connection and conversation, to share insights and seed new collaborations
