Your chance to make art for Lumiere

(11 September 2019)

Children show off their creations during a workshop at Seaham Library

Lumiere light festival returns to Durham in November and you can be part of it, thanks to the Bottle Festoon project.

What is Bottle Festoon?

Bottle Festoon will be one of the installations at Lumiere, which returns to Durham from 14-17 November.

It will be a new artwork made of old, used bottles.

School children, families and community groups can help create the artwork at workshops organised by Durham County Council.

Playing our part

We’re proud to be sponsoring Lumiere and hosting the Keys of Light installation at John Snow College, off North Road.
