Consultation: Academic Complaints

As the awarding institution, Durham University is accountable for the oversight of complaints policies and processes for students on Common Awards programmes. We need to ensure that complaints policies and processes are fair, transparent, and applied consistently within and across TEIs. 

We recognise that TEIs already have experience in managing student complaints. Our approach to academic complaints is, therefore, to provide a framework that will give you flexibility to develop the details of your academic complaints policies and processes, while also ensuring consistency across TEIs.
