The service supports the core policies, processes and committees which affect research degree students. Working for the Dean of Education, and with senior faculty officers, we support the development and maintenance of postgraduate policy, regulation and guidance. We support the University's Research Degrees Committee. We manage key student progress procedures for research students (e.g. concessions, progress, assessment and examination, appeals), and provide analysis of, and reporting on, key research student metrics and datasets (including submission and completion rate, and the results of the PRES student survey).
