Planned Maintenance for multiple services

We will be carrying out planned maintenance work which will affect multiple services between 08:00 8 March 2022 and 08:30 8 March 2022. The affected services will be:

  • Library services
  • PebblePad
  • Unidesk
  • Accounts and Access
  • IT self-service portal

We are carrying out this work to Upgrade software. Whilst the work is taking place, users may experience a loss of service.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will work to keep any potential disruption to a minimum.

CIS are carrying out routine maintenance on the Shibboleth authentication system on Tuesday 8 March between 8.00am and 8.30am.

During this maintenance there will be disruptions to services utilising Shibboleth authentication including many library resources such as Discover, the IT Self-Service portal, PebblePad and the Careers Student Services portal. Existing connections to services which utilise Shibboleth should not be impacted.

If service authentication fails during this time, please try again after a few minutes and your connection should be successful.
