We are aware of an incident currently affecting multiple services in All University locations.
The affected services are:
- University web services
- Remote Access
- Virtual Private Network (VPN)
- Connect and Communicate
- Data storage and retrieval
Whilst the incident is ongoing, users may experience interruptions to service.
We are working to address the issue and restore normal service as quickly as possible. We will be posting updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience.
Please be aware that Sky appears to be currently experiencing an outage. If you are a Sky Customer, you may experience problems reaching Durham University services (such as AppsAnywhere, University Homepage, Network Share Drives etc.) from any Device connected to Sky Broadband, including both Managed Computers and Personal Devices.
Services such as Outlook, Teams, Office 365, and Zoom etc. are unaffected as they are external to the University.
While we are aware of the impact this will have on University Staff and Students being able to work away from the Campus, the fault is external to the University and can only be resolved by Sky themselves.
When further information is available we will endeavour to update this Service Status.
