Planned Maintenance for multiple services
We will be carrying out planned maintenance work which will affect multiple services between 07:00 2 July 2019 and 08:00 2 July 2019. The affected services will be:
- Student email & calendar (Office 365)
- Staff email and calendar (Office 365)
We are carrying out this work to Resolve an incident. Whilst the work is taking place, users may experience interruptions to service.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will work to keep any potential disruption to a minimum.

We are making a change to how email arrives into University systems to improve the issues we've been seeing with legitimate emails being directed to users’ Junk Email folders. There is no change to how you access your emails, but you may notice an increase in the number of overall messages to your Junk Email folder. However, following the change any suspicious emails will be clearly marked as [ CIS CAUTION: SUSPICIOUS EMAIL ] which you can simply delete, and we recommend that you check and clear out your Junk Email folder regularly.
Whilst we are implementing the change - you may notice a delay in receiving external emails and sending or receiving from mailing lists.
