Planned Maintenance for Mira (Linux Timeshare)

We will be carrying out planned maintenance work which will affect Mira (Linux Timeshare) between 20:00 23 June 2019 and 22:00 23 June 2019.

We are carrying out this work to Perform routine maintenance. Whilst the work is taking place, users may experience limited access to service.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will work to keep any potential disruption to a minimum.

On Sunday 23rd June from 20:00, CIS will be rebooting Linux Timeshare Service (mira.dur.ac.uk) servers. This work will mean that each mira server will be rebooted in order to apply the updates / patches and resolves issues with NFS Storage. The service will be unavailable during this time. Any sessions or jobs still running after 20:00 will be terminated when the servers go down. We anticipate that full service will be restored by 22:00. This work is being undertaken outside of normal teaching hours to keep disruption to a minimum, however we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
