We are aware of an incident currently affecting multiple services in All University locations.

The affected services are:

  • Eduroam wireless network
  • Staff wireless network (DU Wireless)
  • Network

Whilst the incident is ongoing, users may experience a loss of service.

We are working to address the issue and restore normal service as quickly as possible. We will be posting updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience.

We are currently investigating an ongoing issue effecting our Wireless networks.

We have been successful in fixing and restoring the DU Wireless service but are unfortunately still experiencing issues with the Eduroam network.

The connections to Eduroam will be effecting users in Durham and also users trying to connect whilst outside of the campus.

We have investigated and successfully resolved the DU Wireless and Eduroam issues.

We will update with further details as they become available.

Update 16:56 17 June 2019

The Eduroam service is now working for on-site and off-site access.

However, it is still being investigated by the third party supplier so is still considered at risk.

Update 17:28 14 June 2019

We are still investigating the current issue effecting the Eduroam wifi connection.

We will be continuing our investigations over the weekend and further updates will be communicated.
