Whilst the incident is ongoing, users may experience interruptions to service.

You may be aware that there was an incident on Kingsgate Bridge yesterday which has resulted in some damage to the bridge, including to the cables that connect our Peninsula buildings to the University network.
While we are not currently experiencing any problems with this network connection, there is a possibility that work on the bridge today may result in a temporary outage.
We are working hard to reduce any downtime and have our engineers on site to fix any issues if they arise.
However, to ensure you are not impacted by any possible outage, we encourage you to regularly save your work. You can also work from the main campus to avoid any possible disruption in connectivity.
