Planned Maintenance for multiple services

We will be carrying out planned maintenance work which will affect multiple services between 06:00 29 May 2018 and 09:00 29 May 2018. The affected services will be:

  • Student email & calendar (Office 365)
  • DU Box
  • Staff email and calendar (Office 365)
  • Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)

We are carrying out this work to Update security. Whilst the work is taking place, users may experience a loss of service.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will work to keep any potential disruption to a minimum.

CIS have been made aware of actions required to ensure continued service and will be carrying out urgent maintenance between 6am – 9am on Tuesday 29 May. This will mean all Office 365 services will be unavailable, including OneDrive and University email via any device. The work will also affect users of Box, CRM and the Union Cloud service. Duo will not be affected (except access to email) and will continue to work as normal.

Students and staff are advised to make local copies of any emails or files that they may need during the downtime. This maintenance work will not affect any scheduled computer exams.

Please be aware that the decision to undertake maintenance during the exam period has not been taken lightly, and CIS apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
