Out of Hours Helpline

The Out of Hours Helpline service is based in Newcastle and operates between 18:00 and 08:00, Monday to Friday and 24 hours at weekends and bank holidays, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. 

All telephone calls to the IT Service Desk are automatically transferred to the Out of Hours Helpline service at these times, meaning that our users enjoy a level of IT support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the University's IT staff providing comprehensive support during core business hours between 08:00 and 18:00 and the Out of Hours facility providing more generalised support throughout the evening and weekends.

This service will log your call and offer general advice on email, printing, login problems, ESOL, fault reporting and duo.
