Change Proposals

I need something new...something to be changed...

If you contact the Service Desk with a request for something new (e.g. a new PC or piece of software) or to change something that you already have (e.g. update a piece of software to a newer version), we call it a Change Proposal.

Examples of Change Proposals can include:

  • New Server Build
  • New Service
  • Firewall Request
  • A project to install a new IT system

You can raise a Change Proposal by filling in a Change Proposal form (you'll need your user name and password to access this form, please do not use non personal account details), or by calling us on Ext 41515 or 0191 334 1515.

Once we receive your form, we will log your Proposal and send you an email acknowledgement with your reference number

You will need to give us this reference number if you get in touch with us about it.

How you can help us to process your Change Proposals

Proposals made to our Change Management Team are assessed by our technical staff, prioritised and then scheduled alongside other Changes. By providing as much relevant information as possible when you contact us, you will help us to carry out this assessment accurately and efficiently.
