IT Governance within the University

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is accountable to the Vice Chancellor for the delivery of IT and the IT Strategy. The Vice Chancellor is accountable to Council.
The IT Advisory Group (ITAG) is chaired by the CIO. The ITAG is a forum for advising on the overall direction for the development of University IT, providing input to strategic decisions on IT resources and priorities; and provides assurance to UEC that engagement between CIS and user communities is fit for purpose.
IT Users' Group (ITUG) is a forum for users across the university to have input to the implementation of the IT Strategy and feedback on the effectiveness of IT provision. ITUG reports to ITAG.
