Personal Devices (BYOD)

CIS offers services to personal devices known as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD).

Please note we do not support personal devices themselves only the services we support, we cannot guarantee your device is compatible or suitable to run them.

Wireless Service

The University wireless service is available to students, staff and visitors in locations across both our Durham and Stockton campuses and the service you connect to will differ depending on who you are, more information can be found here.

AppsAnywhere

This service makes Windows applications available on almost any device anywhere within the terms of licence restrictions. More information can be found here.

Your email can be accessed on your personal device more informaton can be found here.

Office 365

You may be eligible for Office 365 to be installed on your personal device more information can be found here.

Printing

CIS provides a solution for allowing personal devices and to be able to access the Central Print System more information can be found here.

OneDrive

OneDrive for Business is an enterprise cloud storage solution from Microsoft more information can be found here.
