Notes for returning undergraduates

If you are returning to continue your course of study next term, then please take note of the following:

Your CIS username, mailname and campus card

You will keep your CIS username and mailname, and you will be able to continue to use your campus card to access IT facilities and the library throughout the vacation. If necessary (e.g. if the expiry date printed on your card is wrong) you will be issued with a new card at the start of the next term. Please ensure that you bring your old campus card back with you to exchange.

Reading your email while you are away from Durham

You can use the email service to read mail sent to your Durham account while you are away from the University. You will need to regularly check your account to keep it under quota so that you can continue to send and receive messages. Information on Exchange mail quotas can be found here for undergraduates and here for postgraduates.
