Current roles and responsibilities
IT Business Partner for Arts & Humanities, Colleges and PSS
As IT Business Partner for Arts & Humanities, Colleges and PSS I am responsible for developing relationships with key stakeholders, including Faculty Officers, Heads of Department, Bursars, Principals/Masters and Vice-Principals/Masters.
I am responsible for ensuring that the strategic needs of users within these areas are reflected in the development of University IT Strategy and assisting in the prioritisation of work across CIS.
Student Experience
I have responsibility for Student Experience and work with representatives of the student body including the DSU President and College Presidents. I actively promote Student Experience within CIS and am responsible for building and maintaining close links with the student community to ensure student needs are understood by CIS.
I actively seek opportunities to improve student experience and engagement to ensure student representation within CIS.
Career
I joined Durham University in September 2015 and have over ten years experience within the IT industry. I have strong relationship management skills and have extensive knowledge of working across all levels within large complex organisations.
Prior to joining Durham University I had a career within the NHS where I project managed the implementation of a number of systems and process improvement projects.
