Abstract

Four new crystal structures of pharmaceutical molecule furosemide with GRAS coformers are reported and correlated with the known pharmacologically relevant properties of these materials. Furosemide carboxylic acid oxygen donor−coformer aromatic nitrogen acceptor is the dominant synthon, leading to the key intermolecular interactions in the cocrystals studied.
