Winter Congregation Timetable

Winter Congregation 2020 will be held on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 January, please see the timetable below, a printable version is available at the bottom of the page.

Students attend congregation based on their department. Please contact the Ceremonies Unit if you are unsure which ceremony you should attend.

  • Undergraduate and postgraduate awards of the department will be conferred at the same ceremony unless stated otherwise.
  • Students on joint honours programmes (which are not within Combined Honours in Social Sciences, Liberal Arts or Natural Sciences) will attend the ceremony of the 'lead department' for the programme.
  • Students taking a degree within Combined Honours in Social Sciences, Liberal Arts or Natural Science programmes (including the joint honours programmes within Natural Sciences) will attend either the Combined Honours in Social Sciences, Liberal Arts or Natural Sciences ceremonies respectively.
  • Registration for Winter Congregation will open in October. Emails will be sent to all eligible students closer to the time.
