Title: Variable discounting and inequality
Abstract: The model presents a stochastic endowment economy where agents have recursive preferences and face an endogenous borrowing constraint. We show that the distribution of wealth converges to a stationary distribution and draw a comparison with an economy under standard geometric discounting.
