Workshop: Exploring University-Community Partnerships in Energy & Environment

Thursday, 25 March 2010
10:00 to 16:00
St Anthony's Prior, Claypath, Durham DH1 1QT

This one-day event will begin a process of embedding community needs and aspirations into the Durham Energy Institute's expanding portfolio of social and technical research.

Community activists, energy professionals, local government officials and others committed to achieving a sustainable and resilient energy future for Durham are invited to meet with university researchers to establish research priorities and set an agenda for collaboration.

Over the course of the day, we plan to identify concrete projects and devise realistic plans to set them in motion.

Registration and attendance are free. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
