What is a ‘study carrel’?

Carrels are enclosed desks for individual study.

They are available in the Main library on Levels 3 and 4 on a first come first served basis. Computers are available in some of the Main library study carrels.

Queen’s Campus library has a large silent study area with numerous carrels and Education has a limited number of study carrels in Room 7. Further details can be found in the ‘Study Facilities’ section within the web pages for each of the libraries.

There are no study carrels available at Palace Green.
