How do I pay my fines?

Fines can be paid by cash or cheque at the Enquiries desk on level 2 in the Main library or the Service desks within Palace Green, Education or Queen's Campus library.

If you are away from the university, you can send the Library a cheque, made payable to 'Durham University'.

If your fines total £5.00 or over, you also have the option to pay online; when you log in to view your patron record, click the hyperlinked text in the 'Fines owed...' box in the top left hand corner of the table and you will be offered the option to pay using your debit or credit card. This service requires a minimum payment of £5.00.
