One copy of a book, in their reserve collection?

Postby M » 30 Apr 2010, 10:02

How do I get access to a book when there's one copy held by the University, it's at another campus to the one I study at, and it's either a reserve book, or a short loan book?

Would it be possible to give us some more specific details about the book and which campus you are at so we can help you? In these situations it's best to contact us directly with details of an item so we can find out if we need to order a copy for the other campus.

If you would rather send an email than put the details on this forum please contact us via our online enquiries form at http://www.dur.ac.uk/library/using/enquiries/

I've passed your query onto our Academic Support team. Could you email yousay.wesay@durham.ac.uk with your name and the course/module details so I can pass these on to the team and then they can keep you up to date with the progress of your enquiry. Thanks.

The Academic Support team have reviewed the usage of the book and as a result moved it from short loan to 3-day loan. It can now be requested via the inter-site loan service http://www.dur.ac.uk/library/using/borrowing/site_request/
