The Wesley Study Centre, Durham has recently nominated a new Director. The Rev. Dr. Calvin T. Samuel will take over the leading role in September 2010, subject to the confirmation of the Methodist Conference. He will succeed the Rev. Dr. Roger Walton who will step down after successfully leading the Wesley Study Centre for 11 years.
Dr Samuel who is currently New Testament Tutor at Spurgeon’s College, London, and Chaplain to Farringtons School in the Orpington and Chislehurst Circuit, will take up the position as the Wesley Study Centre enters its 22nd Anniversary year. He brings with him a wealth of experience, including previous roles as Assistant Director of Research and Faculty Administration at London Business School, and Visiting Lecturer in Biblical studies at Nazarene Theological College as well as ministry in Circuit.
