Biography

James Mason is a Professor of Health Economics and joined the School for Health in October 2004. Although his interests are wide-ranging, particular areas of interest inlcude design of clinical trials and epidemological studies. James is Co-Director of the Research Design Service (RDS) North East supporting the development of the research portfolio in the region, and introduced Durham Clinical Trials Unit (DCTU) to support local clinical trails in 2009.
