Traditional Crafts Weekend

Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th SeptemberSilversmith Les Howe and his wife Vivienne, an artist and card designer, will be demonstrating their skills in the Garden. Les takes much of his inspiration from the history of Durham, in particular St Cuthbert and the Lindisfarne Gospels.
Vivienne works with traditional paper crafts such as embossing, quilling, parchment work and many more techniques. No need to pre-book. Just turn up on the day. Normal admission charges apply. There is no additional charge to participate in this event.
