Durham University Charity Fashion Shows 2013
Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd February
In aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Durham University's Charity Fashion Show is back for its 29th year. The show is a highly regarded student-run, black tie event in the University calendar.
Clothes from designers including student designers Emily Verelst and Chet Alexander will be modeled by Durham students across the two nights. Both nights host a raffle and the Saturday evening hosts the annual charity auction with plenty up for grabs including a post-exams group holiday abroad.
Guests will also receive "his and hers" goodie bags packed with treats, and will enjoy a drinks reception, nibbles and wine at their table and dance performances throughout the evening. It promises to be a night among friends, filled with atmosphere, all in aid of CRY.
This year the show is in support of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). CRY is devoted to preventing unexpected cardiac death by introducing screening programs and raising awareness about cardiac risk. Patrons include David Walliams, Nick Easter and Pixie Lott.
