Castle Theatre Company and Durham World Heritage Site present William Shakespeare's tragedy of passion, Romeo and Juliet in the magnificent setting of Durham Cathedral. In a new retelling of the most famous love story of all time, hot-blooded youth explodes onto the stage as a pair of star-crossed lovers defy their warring families and risk everything to be together.

CTC's Romeo and Juliet will transport you from the cold English winter to the searing heat of the Italian summer, where passion will rage, blood will be spilt, and love will strive to conquer all. This production is not to be missed.
