A Christmas day out in Durham

Student Community Action from Durham University are hosting an event that any elderly people in the local area are invited to attend. We are offering an afternoon of Christmas shopping in Durham accompanied by student volunteers. There will be a room centrally located in the World Heritage Visitor Centre where refreshments and Christmas entertainment will be offered. Transport from the local area and around town will be provided. If you know of any elderly people that may benefit from this event, please contact Student Community Action on 0191 334 1797 or community.action@durham.ac.uk to sign up and arrange transport details.
