Durham Castle Guided Tours

Monday 19th & Tuesday 20th March
There will be no tours of Durham Castle today due to University Open Days.

Durham Castle, commissioned by King William the Conqueror around 1072, is the home of University College, founding College of Durham University. The Castle has had an extremely interesting history as the home of the Prince Bishops of Durham until 1837, a halls of residence for University students and an accredited museum.
