Durham Castle Guided Tours

Saturday 25th February - Tuesday 6th MarchDurham Castle is open to visitors by guided tour which takes approximately 45 minutes. Tour take place each afternoon at 2pm, 3pm & 4pm.
Durham Castle, commissioned by King William the Conqueror around 1072, is the home of University College, founding College of Durham University. The Castle has had an extremely interesting history as the home of the Prince Bishops of Durham until 1837, a halls of residence for University students and an accredited museum.
