Congratulations on securing a place at Durham University.

We are delighted to welcome you as you start your life as a Durham student. This will be a busy time for you and both your College and Academic Department have planned induction activities and events to help you settle in and find your way around. All new students are encouraged to take the opportunity to meet staff and familiarise themselves with their departments  before your studying begins, by attending the introduction sessions.

Induction Planner

To help you keep track of where you need to be, and what you need to do, during your first busy days at university, whether within your College or Department, we have created a day-by-day Induction Planner. This should help you to plan your schedule, so you don't miss anything from being issued with your Campus Card or meeting the staff in your department, to trying out for a sports team or joining a student society.
