Welcome to DUHWS
Who are we?
We are the Durham University Hill Walking Society, a group of undergraduates, post-grads and a few members of staff.
We lead trips every weekend in term time to some of the most spectacular parts of the UK, including the Lake District,
the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, Snowdonia and the Highlands of Scotland.
What do we do?
Whatever we want to. Of course, it's mostly walking in the hills, but there are also opportunities do things like climbing,
scrambling, fell running and even fishing!
How can you get involved?
Details of how to join the society are given in the 'Society' section of the website. We welcome anyone for as many walks as
they want to come on, be it one a year or every week.
